Thanksgiving Goat Hike! Half of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the Frontera Farmer Foundation

Come to the farm and enjoy a peaceful 1 mile hike around the farm and through our woods with our miniature goats this Thanksgiving! We are excited to donate half of all of tickets sales to the Frontera Farmer Foundation. The Frontera Farmer Foundation is a 501 nonprofit organization that is committed to promoting small, sustainable farms serving the Chicago area by providing them capital grants. The Foundation envisions a year-round interchange between sustainable farmers and consumers, including farmer’s market patrons and chefs, in which seasonal local agriculture provides the foundation for sustainable regional cuisine.Personally, the Foundation has helped our farm grow by assisting us with equipment for our dairy. We are forever grateful for the assistance the foundation provided us! Please be aware that there is some uneven surfaces/ground on the trail. Sturdy footwear is recommended. Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray. We are asking guests to please wear a mask due to Covid-19 while they are shopping in our farmstore. There will be no refunds given in case of bad weather. A credit will be offered for a future hike or for goat milk soap that we are happy to ship to you free of charge.

Goats hikes take anywhere between 45 – 60 minutes. We have a farmstore where you are welcome to purchase farm products (seasonal cheeses, raw honey, goat milk soap, hand salve, and more).
