All soaps contain hand-milked farm fresh goat’s milk from our herd of goats that graze on organically managed pasture at Short Leg Farm. Other ingredients include organic oils (coconut, sustainably harvested palm and olive oils), organic essential oils, organically grown local herbs from Radical Root Farm and Midnight Sun Farm, and coffee/beer/oatmeal are added as noted below.
Citrus Soaps
Sweet Orange: A wonderful bar that has a bright citrus and light floral scent. A skin-soothing, enlivening treat! Terrific as a shaving bar or simply in the shower. Great creamy lather that feels extra smooth on your skin.
Grapefruit: A fresh and uplifting mildly scented citrus soap.
Lemon With Lemongrass: Ultra moisturizing with the sweet scent of lemon. Wonderful creamy lather. Lemongrass is known for its antibacterial properties that help to cleanse pores. Lemongrass may help oily skin. Some people use lemongrass as a natural insect repellent. We love it on the farm!
Lemon Basil: Beautiful spring scent. Made with basil grown locally.
Lemon Eucalyptus: Eucalyptus oil is known for its antiseptic, antibacterial, and stimulating qualities. Lemon Eucalyptus has a stronger scent than the lemon and lemongrass bar.
Mint Soaps
Peppermint: A mild invigorating scent for the whole body!
Spearmint: A good morning scent! Awesome in the shower or as a shaving bar.
Rosemary Mint: Sweet and piney scent. Rosemary contains riboflavin (vitamin B2), when it is applied to the skin it may help with the regeneration of healthy skin cells. Rosemary is said to have antiseptic properties which help to remove toxins from the skin.
Exfoliating Soaps
Coffee: A great cleanser that neutralizes and absorbs strong cooking odors from your hard –working hands!; Coffee is a natural exfoliant that will slough away dead skin cells. Made with direct trade organic coffee.
Oatmeal: An excellent exfoliating bar that contains small flecks of organic steel cut oats. This soap contains no aromatic essential oils, only the light scent of organic oats.
Chai Tea: made with real chai tea that has subtle notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. Mildly exfoliating from the tea leaves.
Floral & Herbal Soaps
Lavender: Relaxing aroma of lavender that nurtures the skin and relaxes the mind and spirit.
Lavender and Rosemary: Nice combination of relaxing lavender and mild rosemary
Oatmeal Lavender: Perfect combination of organic steel cut oats for extra moisture and relaxing lavender
Lavender Eucalyptus: Eucalyptus and lavender combine nicely together to make a slightly stronger scent than the lavender bar.
Earthy Soaps
Patchouli: spicy, woodsy scent
Ginger Patchouli: spicy, woodsy scent with hints of orange and ginger to soften the patchouli oil
Sandalwood: woodsy, sweet smell
Vetiver Grapefruit: woody, smoky scent with wonderful hints of fresh grapefruit
Tea Tree: may help ease eczema and acne symptoms and has antiseptic properties
Tea Tree Eucalyptus: more subtle smelling than our tea tree bar. Enlivens your senses.
Other Soaps & Options
Bell’s Beer Soap: Made with Bell’s Beer, a West Michigan Craft Beer. Natural anti-bacterial properties may be derived from the hops in the beer. Kalamazoo Stout, Oberon, and Bell’s Two-Hearted Beer Soaps are available upon custom order request.
Unscented: Extra-gentle and soothing. A great shaving bar.
Could be helpful for people who have eczema or extremely dry skin.
